"Our Vision - X-Media: Knowledge Sharing and Reuse across Media"

Modern Knowledge Management requires ability to support sharing and reuse of knowledge that is distributed in different media (images, documents and data) and repositories (data bases, knowledge bases, document repositories, etc.).
In this session we will present our results obtained in the research and application of Semantic Technologies to support large scale knowledge management in large distributed enterprises.
We will focus on:

• Sharing and reuse of knowledge
• Knowledge acquisition and capturing
• Architectures for large scale knowledge management

Presenting their results of the application of X-Media technologies will be Rolls Royce (Rolls-Royce jet engines) talking on the aerospace domain and FIAT speaking on the application of X-Media in the car manufacturing industry (Fiat cars).

How to attend

Our Industry day is being held alongside the ESTC Conference in Vienna. If you would like to attend our event, all you need to do is accept your invitation and a code will be sent to you. You will need to fill out the registration form on the ESTC conference website and when prompted enter our code, this will ensure you do not pay for the conference fees and will have access to our event only.

Should you wish to arrive earlier to the venue and would like lunch, please inform the person who invited you and we will ensure you get a bite to eat.
